Serving In: Asia

Ministry Focus - Rod and Elna focus on building relationships with university students, young adults, and pastors of local churches.

60% of the world's youth live in the Asia Pacific Region. This translates into more than 750 million youth from the ages of 15-24 years old who are ready to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. They believe that when you reach emerging young leaders with the gospel, it will change nations!

Ministry History - Rod is an island guy, born on Vancouver Island and living since 2009 on Panay island in the Philippines. His first ministry was in the marketplace working 10 years in the hotel and tourism industry. He served in his local church and attended Bible college leading short-term missions teams during this time.

Rod began ministry in the Philippines by interning with Camp Sonshine Center Foundation where he began building friendships with local pastors as discipleship and missions have always been his heart. This was the starting point of Calvary Bible Institute that equips churches in fulfilling the Great Commission.

Elna was born in Iloilo City and reached for Christ during college. She entered full-time ministry in 2014 working at Victory Church in Iloilo city. She also has lead short-term missions in South East Asia.  Her passion is to share the gospel, then empower and equip these emerging leaders to be the catalysts for change in their communities, their city, and nation.
