“For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in.” - Matthew 25:35

January 2015, Wyly and Candace Gammon began working to develop a 35 acre piece of property in an effort to begin raising their own food for their feeding projects in Honduras but they soon realized that the property was too small for their needs. While 35 acres might have been beneficial, the layout of the property restricted growing food to an area to about 10 acres and there was still a problem with not enough water to support irrigation in the dryest time of the year.

They were actively looking for another piece of property that would better satisfy their needs when a gentleman came to them and offered to lease his property on a long-term basis with permission to develop the property as they needed. This new property has approximately 100 acres for farming and lots of water from a river on the property. In February of 2016 they began working this new property and it is certainly the Lord's provision.

They desire for this project to be self-sustaining so they contracted with an American company to grow Jalapeño peppers. They have grown and sold approximately 150,000 pounds in the first year alone. God multiplied their seed and miraculously preserved their crop from insect infestation. They are providing 20 families from the local area employment during harvest time and employing 6 full-time workers to help maintain the farm. Initial expenses for this endeavor were high, but after increasing the infustructure of the irrigation and harvesting the peppers, the farm has been profitable. Additional crops will be grown to assist with their feeding programs such as beans, corn, and other vegetables.
