The Readiness Assessment is a comprehensive evaluation conducted by Campion, Barrow, & Associates. Campion, Barrow, and Associates was established in 1974 and offers hiring evaluation services for businesses, churches, and mission agencies alike. Their evaluations are used to help us determine a candidate's readiness for mission service.

The cost of the Readiness Assessment is assumed by the candidate for a fee of $350. Completing this assessment does not guarantee employment (missionary status) with Go To Nations or the opportunity to attend missionary training.

Uniquely You is a behavioral profile assessment that helps identify your unique personality in the four temperament model of human behavior (D.I.S.C.). ARE MEALS INCLUDED?

Our World Headquarters staff provides breakfast, lunches, and snacks daily. Feel free to carry in any additional food or beverage items that you would like.

HOW SHOULD I DRESS?

Dress requirements are Business Casual on most days. This means that you may wear jeans but please refrain from wearing jeans with holes. Shorts, tank tops, and flip flops are not permitted. We suggest that you dress professional on the first Tuesday for your individual and class photo, and for the graduation ceremony on the final Thursday evening.

Dressing professionally (no jeans) is a requirement of the SRS Bootcamp which is held on Tuesday and Wednesday of the second week.

WHAT ITEMS SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?

You will need to bring a laptop computer (with USB access) and a paper Bible with you. If possible, two computers per couple. Please bring your driver's license, passport, social security card, marriage license, any credit cards you may have, and a cancelled check or direct deposit form from your bank for employment purposes. We will copy these items on the last day of class.

WHAT DOES THE CURRICULUM COVER?

MPO offers a well-rounded curriculum developed by veteran missionaries with decades of experience in global missions. You may view our modules and key subjects on our MPO webpage at gotonations.org/mpo-modules.

IS MY SPOUSE REQUIRED TO ATTEND WITH ME?

Attending MPO is not the same as orientation and training for a traditional job. Becoming a missionary is a unique calling that requires major adjustments and sacrifices in your daily life. A married couple will need to be equally prepared and equipped for mission service. Therefore, attending MPO together is a necessary requirement.

CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?

We ask that you make arrangements for your children to remain at home during this time of training. We believe in involving the whole family in ministry. However, we have learned that due to the intensity and length of this training, it is most beneficial for husbands and wives to devote this time to processing the training modules and seeking the Lord each evening without also having to balance the care for their children in an unknown environment. Unfortunately, Go To Nations is unable to provide child care.

WHAT DETERMINES MY ELIGIBILITY TO BECOME A GO TO NATIONS MISSIONARY?

Eligibility is determined by many factors that our Evaluation Council carefully weighs out with each individual candidate. Things that are considered include the candidate's Readiness Assessment, application forms and questionnaires, personal interviews, and conversations with provided references. We are always looking for ways to validate and affirm the missions call on a candidate's life. After much prayer and consideration, the Evaluation Council will offer next-step recommendations to all of our candidates during MPO, whether or not they are offered missionary status with Go To Nations.

COME PREPARED TO MAKE A DECISION

If you plan to attend our Missionary Preparation & Orientation training, you should come with the intention of joining Go To Nations as a new Missionary in Training (MIT). Although an invitation to join is not a guarantee at the conclusion of MPO, most candidates are offered missionary status with an established plan for their next steps.

* Please come prepared to make a decision by the end of the training.
