Kenya Children and Youth Ministry
Kenya Children and Youth Ministry
This project provides holistic ministry to at-risk children and youth in Kenya, creating safe and supportive environments where they can learn biblical truth, build resilience, and receive emotional and spiritual care. It also equips local church leaders and volunteers with children’s ministry training and trauma-informed care, enabling them to disciple and support vulnerable children more effectively. The focus is on helping children cope with trauma, grow in their identity in Christ, and experience hope for the future.
Project Goals:
-
Children & Youth Ministry: Offer consistent opportunities for children and youth to engage in Bible-based teaching, mentoring, and creative activities that nurture faith, resilience, and character.
-
Leadership Development: Strengthen the capacity of local church leaders through training, mentoring, and resources, ensuring sustainable ministry within communities.
-
Spiritual and Emotional Formation: Guide children and youth to understand their identity in Christ, apply biblical truth in daily life, and develop healthy coping strategies for adversity.
Through this project, children and youth receive a nurturing environment that integrates Bible-based teaching with creative and interactive methods and trauma-healing practices, while leaders are equipped to disciple and mentor effectively. The result is stronger spiritual, emotional, and relational well-being for at-risk children, preparing them for a hopeful and resilient future.
