Why Go To Nations?
When you're called to missions, choosing the right sending agency is a big decision. It's not just about where you go—it's about how you're prepared, who walks with you, and what kind of lasting impact you'll be able to make. At Go To Nations, we exist to equip missionaries for long-term, fruitful service–complementing what God is already doing through your life.
Here are a few reasons why Go To Nations may be the perfect fit for you:
You'll never walk alone. Our intercultural teams are Spirit-led, missionally-driven communities living life together in unity and purpose. We foster a culture of mentorship, support, and collaboration—not only within our teams but also through strategic partnerships with other ministries to expand our Kingdom impact. With strong field leadership and a safe, empowering environment, you’ll be equipped to grow, lead, and thrive in the calling God has placed on your life.
We’re not just sending missionaries—we’re raising up mature, equipped, and empowered sons and daughters who lead with vision and spiritual depth. We believe leadership is generational, so we invest intentionally in both new and seasoned leaders—imparting the principles, strategies, and global perspective needed for long-term impact. From day one through every season of your journey, you’ll be formed not just as a missionary, but as a Kingdom leader, rooted in the mission, vision, and core values that define who we are.
We care for the whole missionary—body, soul, and spirit. Our Member Care team walks with you and your family through every season, offering consistent, intentional support so you can stay healthy, grounded, and thriving. From life transitions to the demands of ministry, we’re here to help you navigate it all with grace and resilience so you can serve with strength, lead with clarity, and make a lasting impact where God has called you.

Before heading to your designated field location, every Go To Nations missionary has proven preparation goals they must complete. The amount of time this process takes varies person to person and is designed to prepare you for the transition ahead, and helps you navigate your first year on the field.
Much of your preparation time will be devoted to partner building. We will help you establish your funding goals during your Missionary Preparation and Orientation training. You will take those goals and begin raising a monthly support budget—ensuring you depart fully funded, with a personalized monthly budget plus a launch budget that fits your family situation and field assignment.

During this time, you will grow spiritually and gain real-world, cross-cultural experience serving with a multi-cultural team. You'll learn what it really means to live and serve as a missionary, and develop the core competencies of sustainable ministry while making disciples among the unreached. Through hands-on experience, mentorship, and ongoing training, you’ll grow in confidence, deepen your calling, and become equipped to serve with purpose.
Life-long learning and leadership development continues post apprenticeship and throughout your missionary service with Go To Nations.

Partnership Development Training
We believe that healthy, fully funded missionaries are most effective in fulfilling their calling. That’s why we’ve partnered with Support Raising Solutions (SRS)—a trusted leader in missionary support training—to help you launch strong.
SRS is passionate about equipping Great Commission workers who are spiritually healthy, vision-driven, and fully-funded to take the gospel to the nations. As part of your Missionary Preparation and Orientation training, you’ll participate in an SRS Bootcamp—a key component of our training process. This intensive workshop is designed to help you build a strong foundation for partnership development so you can confidently share your vision, invite others to invest, and grow a sustainable support team.
What to Expect
Before Bootcamp, each candidate (or couple) will receive a copy of The God Ask by Steve Shadrach. This book lays the biblical and practical groundwork for raising support with integrity and boldness.
You’ll also complete 24–40+ hours of online training through SRS Learn, an interactive platform that guides you through the essential skills, tools, and mindset needed for partnership development. By the time you arrive at MPO, you’ll be prepared to take your first step in partner building.

Housing is available beginning the Sunday before MPO begins and extends to the 2nd Thursday after MPO graduation. Our hosts strive to provide a comfortable place to retreat and relax after each day of training. Unless otherwise arranged, hosts will not provide meals.
When housing is provided, we encourage our candidates to give a monetary offering to their host as a thank you for their hospitality. Suggested offering is $150 per single, $200 per couple.
