Board of Directors
Ryan Schinneller was born in Jacksonville, Florida and has made it his home ever since. At the age of 10, Ryan accepted Jesus in his life. Ryan currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and on the Board Advancement Committee.
In 1993, Ryan became aware of a need for missionaries in the former Soviet-Union, so he immediately began planning to spend a summer there through Calvary International. Ever since that first mission trip, Ryan has been a supporter of Go To Nations in both prayer and finances, supporting both the ministry headquarters and individual missionaries and projects.
Ryan married Tina Wells in 1995 and graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Florida. After graduation, Ryan took a position at American Technical Ceramics as a photolithographer and was tasked with creating a photolithography lab. After two years, he was transferred to the laser department where he became the lead laser technician working on thin-film hybrid microcircuitry.
After 10 years with America Technical Ceramics, Ryan took a job at Christ the Redeemer Church as a graphics designer, web designer, and videographer, where he served for 20 years. Ryan then served as the Associate Pastor at Grace Church of Avondale until he launched his own church, Reborn Church, located in Jacksonville, Florida in 2023. Ryan owns a production company called Image Media Resource. Tina serves at Christian Healing Ministries. Ryan and Tina have a passion for missions.
Keith studied at the University of North Florida and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in 2004, Master of Public Administration in 2006, and a Doctorate of Educational Leadership in 2018. He is an Adjunct Professor at St. Johns River State College teaching on Public Safety Law & Policy, Police Administration, Grant Administration, Public Sector Budgeting & Accounting, and Labor Relations.
Keith has served with the Florida Highway Patrol since 1997. He was Captain and District Commander of the Jacksonville Regional Communication Center (JRCC) until 2015. He was responsible for overseeing 60 civilian employees coordinating communications between Federal, State, and local law enforcement agencies and officials. He was also responsible for strategic planning, goal setting, coordination of resources, policy, and program implementation.
In 2015 he was promoted to Major as Communication Commander for the implementation and operation of seven regional communications centers across the state of Florida, overseeing hundreds of personnel, increasing hiring diversity, and career advancement opportunities resulting in increased morale. Keith serves as the lead instructor for the leadership development program, Security Manager for State Law Enforcement Radio System operations, and is the statewide coordinator for all evidence and property held by the Florida Highway Patrol.
Keith serves on multiple boards and committees and joined the Board of Directors for Go To Nations as Vice Chairman in 2019.
During his career, Gene served as President of the Northeast Florida Multiple Listing Service, (NEFMLS). He has served on several committees within the Association of Realtors, including NEFAR, the Board of Directors of the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors, and the Florida Realtors. Gene merged his company with Watson Realty in 2015, which has allowed him to enjoy what he does best, working with buyers and sellers on a personal basis. Gene is now proud to be leading the commercial real estate division of ERA Davis & Linn. Gene enjoys camping and playing golf. He and his wife are involved with their local church where they teach classes on gifts, talents, and personalities.
Pastor Rob Goyette and his wife Christie have pastored Living Waters World Outreach Center for the past 23 years. He was responsible for founding Faith Christian Academy 21 years ago and served as its board president for 19 years. The school annually represents over 23 churches in Nassau County in their student body and staff.
In his international travels, he has ministered in India, Indonesia, Israel, Honduras, Ukraine, Cuba, Tanzania, Kenya, Zimbabwe South Africa, the Philippines and Guatemala. For 8 years he was a weekly columnist in the Fernandina Beach News-Leader and authored the book Joining Jesus in His Ministry – a guide to helping people find their ministry calling. He currently serves as Board President for Living Waters World Outreach Center and is focused on building the congregation around Jesus’ five-fold ministry.
Jessica Carter O'Brien is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at First Coast Therapy Group in Ponte Vedra Beach and is the Operations and Finance Coordinator for her church - Awaken Church. She and her husband, Kelly, live in Jacksonville, Florida.
Jessica was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, and accepted Jesus as her savior at five years old. She graduated from St. Johns Country Day School in Orange Park. Then attended the University of Central Florida where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2006. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Florida in 2008.
Jessica has been involved with the Junior League of Jacksonville since 2011 and has been involved with Go To Nations since 2005 when she took her first of three mission trips to the Sonshine Center in Iloilo, Philippines, traveling with her husband for the most recent trip. She worked at the World Headquarters as the Reporting Assistant while in graduate school and has served on the Governance Committee since 2015.
She is following in the footsteps of her father, Dr. Grady L. Carter, with anticipation of becoming a second-generation Go To Nations board member.
Brenda is a native of Jacksonville and happily married to a wonderful Christian man named Donnie, with 2 children - D.J. and Alyssa. Brenda is the marketing representative for First Coast Medical Center and has been with the company for 26 years. She also holds a real estate sales license and a real estate appraisal license.
She and her husband Donnie own North Florida Appraisals - a local appraisal company in Jacksonville. Brenda attends church at The Bridge Family Worship Center in Yulee, Florida, along with her family. She is very active in the church and enjoys serving the Lord. Christ has been a very important part of her family’s everyday life and Brenda strives to continually grow in her spiritual walk. She considers it an honor to serve and contribute to the advancing of the Kingdom. Brenda’s spiritual gifts are faith, giving, teaching, and discernment. Because she has a heart for the nations, she is very happy to serve as the Advancement Committee Chair at Go To Nations. She loves being a part of such a wonderful organization.
David is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. He and his wife, Karen, have three children and two granddaughters. David was in the food industry for 25 years selling 'private label' meat items such as turkeys, baking hens, chickens, ground beef, as well as other items to major grocery chains like Winn Dixie.
David enjoyed his time traveling the southeast region of the United States dealing with people who had become his friends. While not necessarily evangelizing, he tried to show Christ to the business world during his travels. He was blessed many times to be called when one of his business friends needed more than the world had to offer. While David enjoyed the life he had, he knew God had something more planned for him.
David was asked to consult with a private school during this time and his initial reaction was a hard "No!". God reminded David that He just opened a door and David’s job was simply to take a step through it. David knew God had opened the door when the business David had been with, Winn Dixie, would disappear as it went through bankruptcy and changed everything he had known for so long. During his time consulting for the school, he saw an opportunity to bring Jesus in. After a series of events that can only be described as God-led, David started Lighthouse Christian School. Lighthouse Christian School has grown to become the largest Christian school for students who learn differently in Northeast Florida, with eight locations around the area.
Commander Brown was born in Lafayette, LA but grew-up in Baytown, TX. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University in 1991 and his Masters degree in Health Services Administration from Central Michigan University in 1999. He joined the United States Navy in 1987 and served as a minister aboard aircraft carriers USS Independence and USS John F. Kennedy where he witnessed hundreds of souls saved during deployments.
Willie pastored Courtney McTureous Gospel Fellowship located in Okinawa, Japan from 2004 to 2006 and served as an assistant pastor from 2008 to 2010 at Living Word Worship Center while stationed in Sydney, Australia. He served a one-year tour in Baghdad, Iraq where he preached regularly in two different International Zone gospel fellowships and assisted the Iraqi military in building their first military healthcare system which now supports Iraqi service members and their families. He completed 67 missions in the “Red Zone” during his deployment and received the “Bronze Star Medal” for his meritorious contributions during the war.
From 2010 to 2013, he served as Comptroller and Director of Resource Management at Naval Hospital Pensacola. From 2013 to 2016, he served as the Director for Administration at Naval Hospital Beaufort. In 2017, he was ordained at Love House Ministries. Willie now serves as a Healthcare Administrator Professor with Bellevue University. Having visited 70+ countries around the world, Commander Brown is now the pastor of New Generation Christian Church in Jacksonville, Florida. He and his wife, Franziska, have two sons, Jordan and Isaiah.
Nathan Flores was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico and grew up in Augusta, Georgia. While living in Georgia, Nathan grew up attending church and at a young age, gave his heart to the Lord. Throughout his time in Augusta, Nathan graduated high school, attended college, and served as a youth leader at his church. Eventually, he moved to Knoxville, Tennessee to help start a Vineyard Church.
Professionally, Nathan became nationally licensed and certified to become a Chemotherapy Technician. He helped run multiple oncology locations throughout Tennessee. After several years, Nathan moved to Jacksonville, Florida where he married local native, April Phillips, and worked at the Mayo Clinic serving as a Lead Chemotherapy Technician. Together, they decided to join a start-up church called Jacksonville Worship Center. Nathan eventually became an Associate Pastor and April helped lead the Women’s and Children’s Ministry. Unfortunately, the church closed down after five years due to financial hardship.
While looking for a new church, Nathan went back to school and decided to change his career path to Digital Media. He then worked as a Digital Marketing Manager for Integrated Webworks for a couple years and then moved to Kairos Digital as a Web and Creative Manager. Now, Nathan and April attend Awaken Church where Nathan serves in the AV department helping the church with their live stream services and video content.
Myrtle has been working in the behavioral health field for over 20 years with various organizations in Florida. She also is the owner of a private practice in Jacksonville, Florida specializing in mood disorders and substance use. She is a licensed mental health and certified addiction professional who currently serves as the Chief Operation Officer (COO) of the Intervention Project for Nurses (IPN) program in the Jacksonville. She also serves on the board of directors as president for the National Organization for Alternative Programs (NOAP).
In 1997, Myrtle became a member of New Life Christian Fellowship in Jacksonville and presently serves as an elder alongside her husband of 40 years, James Greene. She was licensed as a minister with New Life International and founded the Women of Destiny Fellowship, Inc. in 1997 to provide one-on-one ministry to women from all walks of life. She authored a 31-day devotional book, titled Hope for the Hopeless in 2006. Myrtle currently provides workshops on emotional health and spiritual maturity to help the body of Christ understand the importance of emotional maturity. She is a wife, mother, and proud “Nana” to three grandsons.
Myrtle is a U.S. Navy veteran, a North Carolina native, but has lived in Jacksonville for 40 years. She earned a Master’s degree in Counseling from Webster University in 2009, and also a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Thomas University in Thomasville, Georgia in 2011. She recently obtained her Doctoral degree in Psychology from Walden University in 2020.
Ashlen has been a business entrepreneur for the last 29 years, owning four of The UPS Store franchises, of which she has recently sold and retired. Prior to being a business owner, she had 12 years of management experience in I.T. Her expertise is in procedural and operational implementation, financial analysis, customer service, and print. Ashlen has received various corporate awards within the franchise for high financial performance and development.
Ashlen has a passion for missions and believes in the importance of developing a generational path for giving–not just within her own family, but for others in the Kingdom of God. She has served in the church as a deacon and worship leader for 22 years and believes in all of the gifts of the Spirit. She has been married for 37 years and has two sons.
An accomplished entrepreneur, Colley has a proven track record of driving business growth through strategic planning, market analysis, and customer engagement. With a diverse portfolio of successful ventures, he has founded and led multiple businesses, including RPM Automotive, Inc., as well as enterprises in commercial real estate and the gas station industry. His strong leadership, business development acumen, and financial management expertise have consistently fostered innovation and long-term success across various industries.
Beyond his business endeavors, Colley is deeply committed to community service and nonprofit leadership. He has served on the board of Vineyard Christian Fellowship for over 30 years, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Jacksonville for a decade, and continues to contribute his expertise as a board member of Shoulder to Shoulder Ministries and Dawes Arboretum. His dedication to both business excellence and philanthropic impact reflects a lifelong commitment to integrity, service, and strategic growth.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Bishop Jamar Suber holds a Doctorate in Professional Leadership and serves as a multi-faceted Kingdom visionary alongside his wife, Pastor La-Tricia. Together they have 6 daughters and 1 son, residing in Atlantic Beach, Florida. As a first-generation minister within his family, Bishop Suber has established himself as both a spiritual leader and business strategist. Discovering his entrepreneurial gift at an early age.
Following his salvation at 22 years of age, Bishop Suber recognized God's direction in combining his business acumen with ministry. He established Suber Media Group (SMG), which encompasses multiple ventures including the 3V brand. Under his leadership, 3V Magazine achieved national distribution from its first issue, and the publishing division has launched over 55 plus authors. SMG has expanded to include IA Digital Media & Strategy, offering comprehensive services in coaching, business strategy, marketing, video production and brand development.
As the driving force behind the Influence & Authority Coaching brand, Bishop Suber leverages his 32 years of extensive experience to help business leaders scale beyond the 7-figure level. His expertise in identifying, understanding, and navigating personal and business challenges has established him as a trusted mentor for a new generation of entrepreneurs, transforming individuals from feeling stuck and frustrated to becoming focused and highly productive. He is the author of "The Cashflow Blueprint for Coaches and Consultants" and "The Cashflow Blueprint for Startups and Sidehustles," sharing his expertise in business development and financial strategy.
Dr. Carter is a Chiropractor physician, practicing in Jacksonville since 1977 and has three offices: north of downtown Jacksonville, near the Jax International Airport, and in Orange Park. He has a wife, Betty, and six children, Jennifer, Grady, Jessica, Jassen, Joshua, and Jonathan, as well as 5 grandchildren. He has been active in the Jacksonville community service organizations including Jaycees, Lion Clubs, Health Systems Agency, Northside Rotary Club, Northside Businessmen’s Association, and the Springfield Businessman’s Association.
Dr. Carter was a Calvary International Board Member 2005-2019.
