Our Mission and Vision
Go To Nations exists to initiate and accelerate missions ministry on a global scale until every tribe, every tongue, and every nation has heard the Good News of Jesus Christ. Go To Nations, in partnership with the body of Christ, trains leaders to change nations, ignites the fires of evangelism, brings hope to the hurting, and plants strong national churches. This is accomplished through our worldwide missionary field force and through increasing the ministry capabilities of individuals, churches and ministries globally.

Our Story Begins
1981 Go To Nations Founded
Go To Nations began as Calvary Ministries International, founded by Daniel and Sharon Williams after a short-term mission to Costa Rica revealed a deep need for biblical and pastoral training. Daniel arrived expecting to lead evangelistic crusades, but found God already moving with tent meetings overflowing with new believers. Sensing a call to equip the growing Church body, they returned as full-time missionaries.

1982 Bible School Launched
Fueled by an explosive move of the gospel in Costa Rica—growing from 300 to 3,000 churches—a diverse group of missionaries came together to launch the Cristo Al Mundo (Christ to the World) Bible School. The model proved highly effective and quickly spread across Latin America and beyond, resulting in 10,000 nationals being trained in our first 10 years alone.

1989 Global Expansion
Calvary missionaries expanded globally, establishing teams across West Africa and Asia Pacific. As the Iron Curtain fell, our missionaries surged into Russia, launching the first public Bible school in Latvia and then in Moscow. This sparked a movement that planted over 1,000 churches, documented more than 1 million salvations, and trained 153,000 ministers throughout the former U.S.S.R.–many overseeing major ministries today.

2005 Equipping Track

2006 Global Pathway
In response to a nationwide outcry for church empowerment tools in Russia, the Global Pathway curriculum is published. Over time, additional resources were developed that expanded on the principles established in Global Pathway; Biblical Basis for Missions, Transformational Ministry Training, and Steps to the Mission Field. This powerful curriculum has been translated and implemented in more than 30 nations—and counting.

2010 Rebranding
Over time, Calvary International grew beyond Bible schools and church planting to include orphan and elderly care, street evangelism, feeding programs, community transformation, leadership development, and much more. To better reflect our global mission, Calvary International was rebranded as Go To Nations.

2012 GloDev Founded
Go To Nations' Relief and Development Arm, GloDev, Inc.–which stands for Global Development–was founded to facilitate the transformation of communities in the poorest regions of the world through community development projects.

2016 Eden Gardens Farm
GloDev purchased 120-acres of land and began developing a community eco-farm called Eden Gardens that has grown to include a team of Go To Nations missionaries and faithful volunteers who are working to grow nutrient dense, chemical-free food in one of forty food desert communities in Jacksonville, Florida while addressing needs around the world.

2019 One Hundred Nations
Go To Nations reached and surpassed ministry in 100 documented nations with 188 missionaries, 2,213 affiliated ministers, and 219 active and relational ministry partnerships.
