Victor and Kathie met as college students while on a mid-term mission in China. After marriage and additional training, they brought their young family to Russia. They have over 25 years of ministry experience as church planters and mobilizers in the Slavic world and among the indegenous peoples of Siberia.  As a spiritual mother and father, Victor and Kathie have the vision to see a multitude of spiritual children sent forth to the nations. To further facilitate the vision, in August of 2015, the Barousses relocated to Go To Nations Global Missions Center in Jacksonville, Florida. 

Victor’s focus is on developing church planting movements in unreached nations while instilling in them the vision to reach the ends of the earth.  He travels extensively Director of the Frontier Missions department at Go To Nations, and as City Director for the City for the Nations project. Frontier People Groups are the least reached ethno-linguistic groups, with less than 0.1% evangelical believers. 87% if these people have never even met a believer in Jesus Christ!  City for the Nations First Coast teams the church of greater Jacksonville with the unreached nation of Thailand; the goal is completing the Great Commission there by 2030.  In short, seeing a church planted in every community that has none, or 70,000 new churches.  Kathie serves as Vice President of Member Care, leading a team who provides pastoral oversight and counsel to Go To Nations’ field force, helping to ensure that every Go To Nations missionary “in all respects may prosper and be in good health, just as their soul prospers” (3 John 2).
