Much of the world is in crisis right now. Not a day goes by that we don’t hear about a major natural disaster, political unrest and war. What we often do not hear are the scores of villages being destroyed by fanatical religious zealots as Christians are persecuted and killed in Northern Africa and across Asia. In many of these places Go To Nations has missionaries and affiliated ministers that are part of our extended global family who are a first line of relief, assistance, refuge and support for those in the midst of tragedy. 

Our missionaries in Ukraine helped almost 200,000 displaced individuals in just 2022 alone. They even set up a second base in Poland just to meet the needs of so many homeless. During the most severe lockdowns under Covid, Go To Nations missionaries and ministers distributed food to hundreds of thousands of families in Latin America, Africa and across Asia. In the past few years, Go To Nations teams living right on the edge of these conflicts and disasters have responded to typhoons, volcanos, earthquakes, floods and worse.

Churches in India have sent teams to Manipur in Northeastern India, where hundreds of persecuted Christians have been wounded or killed and more than 50,000 displaced from their homes. Outreach efforts continue in Ukraine. Teams in Nigeria and Burkina Faso are constantly on heightened alert in an often hostile political and spiritual environment and have ongoing programs to help those whose lives are turned upside down through multiple coupes, political upheaval and severe religious persecution. 

Go To Nations maintains this Global Relief Fund so we can quickly respond in these situations. We are often able to mobilize quickly, and through our networks or churches and ministries, be one of the first to respond with drinking water, non-perishable food, and staples that can sustain whole families and villages until the major relief organizations begin to arrive.
