AUTHORITY IN JESUS

A few weeks ago, we met some people who had some crazy encounters with evil spirits. The family is pictured above, the middle three. The father is Pi Chai, the mother is Pi Aeh, and the son is named Game. We heard from one of our disciples, who is on the far left in the photo, that there was a boy who had a sickness where blood would flow out of his body and wouldn’t stop. Our team was intrigued and went to visit this family.

After we were there for some time, the boy started screaming for us to leave. He didn't like us or our team there. As we were beginning to leave, I saw a demonic spirit at the side of the house that was like a hunchback. I told our team leader that we needed to pray for the house, knowing there were spirits there.

The next day we saw them again, but the boy was almost an entirely different person. He was welcoming to us and very cheerful with our whole team. The parents accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior that night.

A few days later, I saw them at one of our disciple’s houses. The wife explained to me that there was this evil spirit that banged on their walls at night and kept them awake as it was very frightening. I told her in short that now as a Christian, she has all authority in Jesus to tell this demon to get out of there.

The next day we saw them again, and man, was there a story to tell. The wife said that the same night I told her to use her authority in Jesus, three spirits had come into their house. The hunchback "thing" had gotten on top of her while two other spirits were pulling at her legs. She said all she could remember in that moment was us telling her to say, "Get out in Jesus' name!" As she said this phrase, she said a bright ball of light appeared, and the spirit on top of her just exploded in this ball of light! They said the rest of the nights onward were so peaceful.

I talked to Pi Chai, the husband, just recently. He kept saying, "God is real. He is so real." He went on to elaborate that near their house at night, they can sometimes see these evil spirits. However, they cannot go to their house. They said it's literally impossible. These spirits cannot enter it. There is something protecting them there. This man and his wife are now solidified in following Jesus because He is the only One who has been able to help them in their troubles. God is so good!
