BIBLICAL BASIS FOR MISSIONS
Go To Nations has a three-part Church Empowerment Training that is taught in church conferences and as Bible school courses in universities. Recently, Dr. Jerry, president of Go To Nations and author of these materials, received the following testimony from a student at Charis Bible College after he spent a week teaching on-site.
I am a full-time, 2nd year hybrid student of Charis Bible College in Cherry Hill, NJ. I am writing regarding my online course "Biblical Basis for Missions" which you taught. My heart was so moved by the things I learned regarding missions that I cried. When I spoke to my daughter about what I learned I could barely get the words out without crying. I truly was moved. I believe I have a call on my life to travel the USA to speak and spread the gospel. My children went to school with other kids who never heard of Jesus (I was shocked because this is the USA). I understand now why the gospel is needed all over the world.
Your statistics blew my mind. When you brought people up on stage for your visual and when finished all sat down but the young man in the back holding the sign "the lost" and you said "sorry, there was no one to reach you" (not exact words)... BUT that was when my heart ached for the lost. I have not been able to stop thinking about it and tearing up when I do... I am looking forward to my future in Christ as I keep stepping through His open doors answering the call on my life! I thank you for your "yes" to God and blessing me with this knowledge that will be in my heart forever. God bless you and your ministry. I will keep you in my prayers!
