DREAMING OF JESUS

DREAMING OF JESUS

In one of the villages, we have a sewing center where we have 69 women who are learning stitching. Anusha is one of the students and her husband is a leader of a Hindu fundamentalist group. They belong to a shepherd (livestock) community.

When Anusha was 7 months pregnant, she went for a general checkup. The doctors found something wrong with the baby and suggested a scan. They quickly realized that the baby's heart was not beating and they suggested she get an abortion. After further testing, they realized it was very dangerous to the mother as the baby seemed to have died hours before. The doctors suggested her family members take her to the government hospital.

The family took her to the government hospital and admitted her on the third floor. The pain was so severe that she could not bear it and she cried a lot! She started praying to all of her family Hindu goddesses by mentioning them each by name but the pain did not subside. B
ecause of her screaming and crying out in pain, the nurses were scared and Anusha realized that there was no hope for her to live. Then she remembered one woman who always greeted her on the streets and used to answer this way...

When Anusha asked her, "How are you?” She said,” I am fine because of my Jesus.”

"Have you had lunch yet?" She replied, "My Jesus provides food for me and for my family."

"How is your health?"

"My Jesus is a healer…who heals from every sickness. I am healthy!"

The Christian woman is always talking about her God Jesus to Anusha. So, t
here in the hospital, Anusha said, “O God of that Christian woman…please help me like you help her!” Unknowingly, she went to sleep as He had totally healed from her continuous pain.

In the middle of the night, a man in white appeared to her and He was holding a black cover book in His hand (the same book which I, Paul, am holding in my hand in the photo below). He said to her, "I am the true God…you will be alright and I will give you life."

In the very early morning, she came out of her hospital room. She looked for her relatives and the nurses but no one was there. She felt something hit her powerfully and she was in good health. She walked by herself from the third floor to the reception center. The reception girl was shocked to see her. She was speechless! Anusha told the receptionist, "I am going home." Then she hired an auto rickshaw and went home without anybody’s help.

She came to me (Paul) and shared this with me. She doesn’t want to reveal this to any of the women in the center, and especially her husband, because of their Hindu beliefs. I was able to share more about Jesus and now her husband is open to her faith and Christianity.

One of the incredible appearances of Jesus to a Hindu. This is a very dramatic story and very long, but I am giving it in a nutshell. Praise be to the Living Jesus!

What a God we are serving,

Pastor Paul

This is a recent Miracle Report from our team leader Paul in Central India. We continue to stand amazed at the testimonies and reports we receive from these very difficult and often unreached nations. BUT GOD..... again and again.

This is a WONDERFUL testimony. So be encouraged that your prayers and partnership continue to make a difference. In 2023, for every $15 that was donated to a Go To Nations missionary or ministry project, someone, somewhere in the world was ministered to. And those are only direct contacts from our own missionaries, associates and affiliate ministers. We now have over 24,000 graduates trained through our Bible schools and ministry training. We only count their numbers while they are students with Go To Nations. Imagine stories like these multiplied hundreds of times over as we empower and equip generation after generation.
