Every week, we receive testimonies from our missionaries serving all over the world, and one theme is persistent in their stories: People are HUNGRY for the Lord! In fact, there is such a desperate desire for God evident in them that many don’t let anything get in their way of pursuing Him. Pastor Paul shared this testimony of a woman who wouldn’t let her disability keep her from graduating at one of our Bible Schools in India! 

The second batch of Bible School students began their studies in Warangal, India in 2023. One of the women, named Rupa, who is physically underprivileged, asked Pastor Paul’s permission to enroll in the school. She could only walk a few meters with her supporting sticks, but it’s very difficult for her to travel without someone’s help. She lives about 15.5 miles away from the school. Unless someone dropped her off there, she would not make it. 

But she was so passionate and persistent to learn the word of God that her disability could not stop her from attending the school.

She also had a great passion to serve the Lord, especially in the ministry. Though her local pastor was a good man, he could not use her services because of her physical condition. Sadly, she’d never had an opportunity to use her gifting in the local church.   

On the 27th of January, 2024, she graduated from the Bible school! Her pastor was there for the graduation service, and he noticed that she stood first out of 43 students as far as attendance is concerned. Pastor Paul gave her a nice gift as an appreciation.

Now the really exciting part…

The elders and the pastor of her local church honored her with a shawl in front of the whole congregation and appointed her as a women's cell leader. She was so happy and overwhelmed with joy for her elevation which came from the Lord. This really encouraged Pastor Paul as he has seen the hand of God in their Bible Schools.
