MIRACLE HEALING IN THAILAND
Meet Jit. Some time back, the Lord had put him heavily on my heart. For a week straight, I couldn't stop thinking about him in prayer even though I had never officially met him. So one day, I decided to set out and go and speak to him. I came to him and he immediately explained how his life had turned upside down very quickly. He had no place to go, no income, no food, and couldn't even really work because he was very sick with a fever and swollen feet. He was wearing a jacket and sweatpants because of the chills from the fever. I could see why the Lord brought me to him.
I told him that God sent me there that day for a purpose and a reason and shared a bit to encourage him. I let him know I would return the next day to bring him a big bag of rice so he could at least have some basics for food. Before I left, I encouraged him that there is a God who loves him and wants to heal him. I prayed for him and left. The next day I return to find that he was wearing a short sleeve shirt and shorts. I asked him if he was feeling better from his fever. His response was awesome. He told me about how after I prayed for him, that night he had a dream and God came to him and said "I've come to help you". He woke up after that and immediately felt like something was pouring out from his skin. He said sweat started coming out of his skin so quickly and fast. He felt so much better after that.
I rejoiced in that moment and praised the Lord. He had been healed of his fever! So I handed him the rice and spared no time in telling him about Jesus and he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior! I told him the job wasn't finished yet, though. God wanted to complete the healing by healing his swollen feet. So I prayed for him again and told him I would return later with food from an event we were holding nearby. As I came back with food, I stood in the doorway to his little house and he had the biggest smile on his face. He looked at me and pointed down to his feet and said loudly, "LOOK! NOT SWOLLEN!" and started dancing with his feet. God had completed the healing! He said this was the strangest thing to ever happen to his life. Praise the Lord for what he did in his life.
I know this was a long story; I usually try to keep things shorter, but I really wanted you to hear this story. It is important to me. This is because what happened later after all of this. A few weeks after these events, some complications arose and Jit passed away. When I heard the news that he had passed away, my heart was full of peace and joy. Peace and joy you ask? Well, because this man would have passed away and never heard about the Gospel if I hadn't listened to the Lord lead me to him. This man would be in hell today if I hadn't gone over to him to speak to him. This man is in the eternal arms of Jesus now because I responded to the desire of God's heart to speak to him. This is why I am here. This is why we came here, to populate heaven and plunder hell. It is unfortunate that he has passed away but we rejoice that he has eternal life with Jesus. Someday, I will be reunited again with Jit and we can celebrate together. |
