TESTIMONIES FROM THAILAND

On the first Tuesday of March, we began a cell group with a few new believers and some of our current disciples. Michael taught them the subject of the assurance of salvation in Jesus, a free gift from God. A few weeks ago, we led three people in the photo to the Lord, who accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Since then, they have not stopped asking to go to church the following Sunday. They love it so much. One woman repeatedly tells me, “Every time I come to church, I feel peace in my heart. I really like it here.”


   

Some of them cannot read, so Michael bought a small radio where he can put an SD card inside with an audio Bible in their local dialect. They enjoyed it so much that they kept fighting over who could listen to it the most. He had to order a radio for each of them! They have also asked for praise and worship music to listen to, so we are working on getting some USB drives for their radios to swap back and forth between audio Bible and worship music. 

Three of the new believers in our group got healed recently: 

• One grandmother had an issue with her stomach. She said she couldn't go to church because of it. So we prayed for her and came back later in the day. She said she was completely better! 

• The grandmother's daughter had a nasty sinus infection. She had a fever, had blood coming out of her nose, and didn't have much strength. She did not want to go to the doctor at all so we prayed for her and told her Jesus is our greatest doctor. She later said that she had been healed from all her symptoms after that! 

• A friend of the daughter had an issue with her eye. She is pictured below with her new Bible. She's allergic to dust and was in a situation where she encountered a lot of it all at once. We prayed for her on the way to our new cell group. As we returned to drop her off at her home, she suddenly said, "My eye! It's better!" She had been healed!

A friend of ours had reached out to us. Her mother was in the hospital for some time. She called us to ask if we could come to visit the person next to her mother in the hospital. She talked with this lady and found her to be Christian before, but had strayed away. Our friend left the hospital, but we still visited this person. We introduced ourselves and asked about this lady's story. She told us how she had been a Christian before but had come far away from it. As we spoke with her, she explained to us that since she had been in the hospital, she had a huge desire to come back to God. Ahxiang led her to rededicate her life to the Lord again. She prayed and was in tears! She loves Jesus so much.

Afterward, we prayed over her body as she was struggling with many sicknesses and diseases. As Michael laid hands on her, he prayed that the Holy Spirit would come like a fire and heat to her body and burn everything away. Since he prayed in English, she didn't understand, but afterward, she said that her whole body felt hot and like there was a fire! Something happened even though she did not understand. She, again, was in tears. God saw her hunger and sent us through our friend to bring her back to her Heavenly Father. Like this lady's experience, if we are hungry for God, He will meet us in it. He's so good!
