Serving In: The Americas

Wyly & Candace Gammon They first established a children’s ministry in Roswell, Georgia (near Atlanta) in 1993, and over the next four years established a children’s church and an evangelistic program, STREETREACH. Since 2006 they have been living and working in San Pedro Sula, Honduras and serving Go To Nations as Regional Directors of Latin America while promoting and training in children’s ministry. In 1998 they went to Medellin, Colombia S.A., and built a children’s ministry that includes Children’s Church, a ministry to street children called The Refuge and a Training Center to train and equip ministers to children.  Hundreds of ministries to children have been started from the work in Medellin since 1998. Their main focus is children, however their ministry has broadened to include feeding and food production, community transformation projects, micro-enterprise, education and Bible schools. Their feeding programs provide 112,800 nutritious meals for hungry children per year. They have established two private Christian schools with 700 at-risk children attending. Their influence has expanded to training and equipping missionaries through Go To Nations in Honduras.
